After Zoo Boo on Friday night, we planned to go to the pumpkin patch at Priddy Farms on Saturday. Trent was really excited about getting a pumpkin to carve, but what really surprised us was that Trent didn't remember going last year at all. He remembers EVERYTHING, or at least we thought he did.
We got to the farm, and we took some family pictures. Who knew it would be so hard to get all of us to look and smile at the camera to the same time?
Mommy was looking...
Daddy wasn't ready (and neither was anybody else) :)
We got a couple of pretty good pictures
Then we had to put the kids in headlocks :)
After we took the family pictures, we let the kid play on the swings.
Jack wasn't sure if he liked to swing...
Trent was swinging REALLY high which was fine until he hit the side of the swingset :(
Then we let Jack play some football.
Doesn't he look like a little football player in his MSU sweatshirt?
Finally, we went on the hayride and picked a pumpkin for Trent.
Trent found his pumpkin
Then he headed back to the trailer for the hayride back
Jack found a pumpkin with a squishy spot - eeewwww!
Nanny and Papaw enjoyed spending time with their grandsons!
Jack claimed a little girl's pumpkin on the hayride back
We had a ball at the farm! We took a couple of pictures of the boys with pumpkins.
On the way home we stopped by Walgreens to get a pumpkin carving kit. While I was inside the store, Matt found a Daddy Long Legs on his leg. He got out of the car and walked around to show Trent the spider, but in the process Daddy Long Legs decided to crawl up his pant leg. I just wish I had been there to see his reaction!
